The Festival
EDV Las Vegas
I spent a lot of time living in Vegas and although sometimes small is beautiful, the sheer size and production of EDC Vegas had to top the rest
The Club
Mansion in Miami
I was very impressed by the refurb at Mansion Miami, I had some amazing times there this year while I was living out in Miami for a couple of months
The Producer
It’s so hard to name just one person when generally for me I play a lot of one off tracks from people who aren’t so prolific. I think the most exciting genre for this year for me was Deep House through Nocturnal
The Hero
Felix Baumgartner
Hands down! A brave guy for sure and having dabbled in a bit of skydiving myself, I fully appreciate the sheer magnitude of what he achieved this year – jumping out at the edge of space
The Breakthrough Artist
I played a lot of music from Stan Koilev & Matan Caspi this year. I’m sure they will keep the quality tracks coming
The Prediction for 2013
My prediction and wish for 2013 is that off the back of all the mainstream EDM success, more people will discover the more subtle sounds of the underground
