What’s The Best Night Out You’ve ever Had?
I’ve had many, but the one that sticks in my mind at the moment, back in 2003 I was in Ayia Napa, The Firin Squad were there too, and we all found out that we got nominated for a M.O.B.O. award.
I’m not a drinker at all, but we ended up buying a bottle of Sambucca each…the last thing I remember is the 15th shot…dunno how I got back to the hotel, anything….

What’s Your Favourite Club?
Recently I got to spin in a city called Doha which is in Qatar. The club was called The Diplomatic, Massive club with a crowd that knew their music and a sick sound system.
Also, APT in New York, I haven’t played there yet, but everytime I go to N.Y. I check it out. Heavy DJ’s, intimate setting, most importantly, good music. I was there for the first J Dilla tribute party, DJ Spinna was playing, Waajeed from Platinum Pied Pipers was spinning too and DJ Scratch from EPMD who also produces for Busta, sick night.

What’s Your Favourite Record Of All-time?
Depends what genre, for Hip Hop, it’s gotta be Big Daddy Kane ‘Aint No Half Steppin’ for Soul, Cameo ‘Candy’ or Kleeer ‘Intimate Connection’ for indie, The Jam ‘Down In The Tube Station At Midnight’ Funk, Funkadelic ‘One Nation Under A Groove’ or The JB’s (James Brown’s backing band) ‘The Grunt’ Reggae, Frighty & Colonel Mite ‘Life (Is What You Make It)’ I’m an 80’s baby…

What Record Can’t You Stand?

Name Three Of Your Biggest Influences.
My Mum, A genuine, hard working and respectful human being. She instilled specific values in me, namely, respect and manners. My 3 uncles, 2 of them were musicians and dancers, and the other a record collector/DJ, when I was younger, they brought all types of music round me, that’s where I get the love for music. Lastly, DJ’s Cash Money, Jazzy Jeff & DJ Aladdin…the 3 guys were the reason I wanted to be a DJ. Google them and see how they did their thing in the 80’s.

I’m glad to be a part of all that.

What Is Your Life Philosophy?
