Welcome back to DMCWORLD dude, what an incredible 2012 you are having! You are in the middle of a huge Canada/USA tour at the moment, the next few weeks see you headline some mighty clubs, Fluxx in San Diego and Hyde Bellagio in Las Vegas jump out at us. You have just had your US Visa approved for the next 3 years, happy days. How do the US crowds differ from the European crowds?

“It’s a bit different. The US crowd is more even crazy than European crowds (except Ibiza). They absolutely go totally crazy and the vibe is always extreme in the clubs.”
 


Tomorrowland showed the rest of the world how to put on a festival last weekend. Quite a moment for you when Swedish House Mafia spun your new track ‘Here I Come’…

“Yes, I was very happy! Axwell dropped it first at the Summerburst Festival in Stockolm and then they put “Here I Come” in the Swedish House Mafia set! They play the track everywhere, I’m really proud of this. I’m also really happy about all the other support from DJ friends like Tiesto, David Guetta, Axwell, Thomas Gold, Roger Sanchez,  Deniz Koyu and many more…”
 
What is coming next from you studio wise?

“We decided to make a follow up of “Here I Come” with Whelan di Scala and Mitch Crown because this track was a big success for us, toppingthe beatport charts and big DJ support etc. Then I made a remix for my friend Rob Adans “Abash” and I’ve got 2 new solo records under go.”

You have two massive shows coming up in Ibiza this month at Space, part of your residency. How has the season been so far for you?

“This season is pretty good, I already played one time at Space at the beginning of July, I love that place especially The Terraza, the vibe is crazy there. I am in the middle of my first big US tour at the moement and I will play a huge gig August 18th 2012 at Heineken Fantasy Iceland in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico!”
 
What do you love about Ibiza?
 
“The atmosphere is so different from anywhere else. The people are there because they know all about the music. I like the pool parties, I love Ushuaia, Pacha is totally hot, Bora Bora is great and it’s always about music.”


What has been your anthem of the summer?

“I would say Swanky Tunes and Hard Rock Sofa “Here We Go” – a really big club banger!”
 
Outside of EDM, who are the artists you are listening to at the moment?

“Adele, Coldplay, Johan Martin – but I listen to all kinds of music from R&B, deep house to pop.”

Is there any future plans to hook up with Avicii again in the studio?

“Not at the moment but maybe in the future…you never know.”
 
Who are your big DJ party mates when you bump into them on the world circuit, who do you like having a beer with?

“I´m really good friends with to Norman Doray and Rob Adans. Both are really close friends of mine, but I´m also great friends with he rest of the French guys… Michael Canitrot, Tristan Garner, Gregori Klosman…”
 
What one record changed your life?

“Stardust “Music Sounds Better With You”
 
What are the most important things you have learnt career wise in the last 12 months?

“Be patient and work hard – and then all the opportunities will come. It’s better to produce less but with top quality.”
 
What do you hate about all the travelling?

“Check-ins at the airport, security controls and then boarding by groups!”
 


What has been your favourite new found country you have discovered in 2012?

“I love Bali!”
 
And finally, the last time we spoke you said admitted that you love having sex to Sinead O’ Connor’s ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’. What song do you love listening to after having sex?

“Song!? I sleep…hahaha…”
