Trainspotting with Aeres

Aeres, (aka Phi Nix) is an up-and-coming producer and DJ based in the Netherlands, known for seducing crowds with her hypnotic tribal influences combined with storytelling melodies. She has graced the decks at clubs and festivals all over the globe, including New Zealand, Turkey, The Netherlands, Thailand, Qatar and North America. With a couple of collaborative releases under her belt already, Aeres is set to release her debut solo EP this spring. As her new collaboration with Diephuis, ‘Desert Sky,’ is blowing up the airwaves with support from Jeremiah Asiamah on BBCR1, DMCWorld go Trainspotting with Aeres.

I love the dreamy atmosphere this song creates overal. The oriental feel the instrumentation has and the dreamy vocals in the background. An amazing blend of organic percussion and interesting choices in instrumental picks.

I’m loving every single release that Space Motion puts out there. His mixes are incredible and the sound design is on a whole other level. Every track keeps amazing me, but for me this is such a good blend between the organic elements in the percussion that make the low end warm and distinct yet combined with the edgy, cutting synths it’s a killer track and a real crowd pleaser for sure 😉

Martin Waslewski  – Kaolack – Hommage Records

This song makes me happy any time I pay it, I feel as I’m in the middle of the jungle attending an ecstatic dance session. The indigenous vocals, the playful instruments, the warm percussion, the whole vibe has an aesthetic that instantly raises the vibration in any crowd and I think that’s truly incredible.

A dreamy collaboration between Diephuis and Aeres (formerly known as the artist PHI NIX) are back with an uplifting and ecstatic release that combines rich melodies, dreamy vocals and delightful percussion. The bass driven track with it’s oriental and latin american influences makes you wanna dance any time of the day.

Such an amazing collaboration with the greats combining their unique talents and sounds to bring a blend of both dancy, mysterious and an innovative blend with a super catchy vocal + great backing vocals, cool sound design and an overall great atmosphere that hugs the dance floor.

Wurtz – Modular  – Running Clouds Records

This song hits me in a special way, the way it’s blended with the instruments and synthesizers. I love the extensive structure of the build up and the way it transforms throughout the track. It’s an instant mood booster to me.

Kevin de Vries – Dance With Me – Afterlife Records

Catchy in a dark way. Great production, love the vocal and the synths are great. Love the mixture of the whole atmospheric vibe and instruments. Great overall feel.

Argy Goon Gum – Pantheon – Afterlife Records

Very cool track, loving the production and the vocal chops. The mixtures between super dry and wet instruments, the edgy synths creating a great world of atmosphere.

Supermode – Tell Me Why (Meduza Remix) – Axtone Records

A great take on an old classic song that already has a very cool and catchy vocal, but now in a new production by Meduza, very nice modern touch, still keeping the old chemistry, but giving it a bit more edge. Loving it!

Eelke Kleijn – Transmission (Joris Voorn Remix) – Days Like Nights Records

Very cool song with a super catchy riff. Great remix of an already amazing song by Eelke. Loving the build up and sounds on this one. Very dancy and a true crowd pleaser.
