Jimmy Allen – The Get Down – Circus Recordings
If you’re a fan of your US inspired house with some UK flavours, this the one for you. I’ve had some amazing feedback on this one.
Louie Vega – In Search Of Piece Of Mind – Nervous Records
Louie always delivers and this one is no different. Hard hitting hats and great Disco samples and an infectious groove!
Luke Alessi – After Five – Life & Death
Disco meets House with this one. A perfect balance of Disco groove, house rolling drums and captivity vocal which glides over the tracks perfectly.
Musclecars – Tonight (NV South Jersey Dub) BBE Music
By far my favourite version off the EP. Always gets a big reaction from the crowd and gets people moving.
Dam Swindle Ft – Arnold Jarvis – Special Kind Of Love – King Street Sounds
Dam Swindle always bringing the heat with their production and this one is no different featuring the legend Arnold Jarvis on the vocals.
Jimmy Allen Ft DJ Romain – Our House – Big Love Trax
Think basement, Red Light, Heads down and proper US Deep House club track.
Peter Croce – Revival – Rock Steady Disco
This track has been a staple in my sets of recent. I love the spoken word & how the drums dip in and out and build tension. Amazing track to start your set with.
KETTAMA – Yosemite – Philip George Remix – Steel City Dance
Unreal remix on this one, completely made this one his own. Such a beautiful blend of sounds and production is another level.
Pancratio – It Was Unexpected – Faith Beat
Monster of a track strictly made for the clubs. Very early 2000’s inspired Tech House. Think Wiggle & that early London sound of tech house famously championed by Terry Francis & co.
Huxley – Box Clever – Cinithie & Meat Remix – 2020 Vision
I loved the original, but Cinithie and Meat have really done something special with this one. If you haven’t heard it go grab your headphones right now!!!
‘The Get Down’ EP is out now on Circus Recordings.
