UK North Eastern DJ and production brothers Peverell have been contributing to the dance music scene since the late 1990’s. They are known for their versatile style, blending genres from Soulful, Disco House and Jackin’ tracks, delivering vibrant performances. Peverell have held residencies and performed across Europe, including Ibiza. They have released over 50 tracks and remixes on labels such as Let There Be House, Phoenix Music, Love To Be, Jango Music and more. A notable highlight in their career is the remix of their original track ‘Way Back’, by house music legend Roger Sanchez, a collaboration with Ron Carroll. As their superb new collaboration with Kuuda, ‘So Spiritual’, including a hot remix from Yousef, lands on Let There Be House, DMCWorld goes Trainspotting with Peverell.
Peverell & Kuuda – So Spiritual – Let There Be House
We had to start with this! We collaborated with fellow North Eastern producers Kuuda on this and it clicked immediately. Their atmospheric vocal took our disco inspired work to the next level. The Yousef remix is a totally different breed too. As a collective, we’re really proud of this one.
Rue Jay – I Want Your Love – Wh0 Plays
We’ve heard this in almost every set across Ibiza, and the festival season this summer. The old skool stabs instantly give the track familiarity. It seems like every person and their dog are playing it.
Franky Rizardo – Don’t You Want My Love – LTF Records
Everything Franky touches at the moment is gold. Love his energy behind the decks and watching him play this track live is an incredible moment.
Dave & Maurissa – What About My Love (Michael Gray Remix) – Z Records
A piece of magic from Dave Lee & Maurissa. Add to it the Michael Gray touch and it makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. Incredible track.
Peverell – Don’t Stop – Love to Be
This track started the year off nicely for us with. The catchy old skool organ sound meets new skool belting drums. This one hits the spot.
Cavi – F The Disco – Too Many Rules
Every time we hear this it gets better, especially when you hear it on the dance floor. It oozes positivity and energy and turns a good dj set into a great one.
Groove P & Adeva – Hold On Honey – Pleased As Punch
This one just drives on and on. As soon as we seen Adeva’s name on it we were drawn to it. Obviously the fact it was on Shapes’ label too.
Dave Lee (ZR), Shawn Christopher, Black Widow – People Of All Nationz – Glitterbox
The arrangement on this is something special. The vocal sample is one that gets your attention anyway, the build keeps you in suspense and then the keys section comes out of nowhere and it’s well worth the wait.
Jay Vegas – My Life – Hot Stuff
Jay Vegas – the king of the sample. One of Jay’s tracks will always make it into our sets and it’s probably this track for the foreseeable.
Dennis Ferrer, Girls of the Internet, Anelisa Lamola – Affirmations – Classic Music Company
Such a groovy track with immense vocals. It sounds like a track from the late 2000’s that you’d hear at Pacha in Ibiza, that takes us back.
Peverell & Kuuda ‘So Spiritual’ (Incl. Yousef Mix) is out now on Let There Be House.
