Up and coming talent, Seor (aka Bruno Roessen), is a producer and DJ from Rotterdam. Born with a passion for electronic music, Seor is making waves in the music scene with his unique sound within the West Coast House and Minimal Tech genre. Known for distinctive style, blending tribal drum patterns with ethereal synths and fresh melodic effects, Seor draws much of this inspiration from ’90s house and minimal techno, often uncovering new and inspiring sounds by digging through vinyl. His music has landed on labels such as Bouman Records, Need, and this week he lands on the new ‘Let There Be House presents’ EP with his brilliant track, ‘Straight Drums’. DMCWorld goes Trainspotting with Seor.
Da Sunlounge – Much More – Myna Music
This track has such a strong groove, and I’m obsessed with the vocal that runs through it. It’s the kind of element that elevates a house track from good to unforgettable.
Chaos In The CBD – Multiverse – In Dust We Trust
What really draws me in here is the reverb that spreads across the whole track combined with the acid bass. It creates a hypnotic atmosphere that I can listen to on repeat.
Jamie Jones – We Can – Crosstown Rebels
For me, this is the perfect opener. It sets the tone with just the right balance of energy and groove to draw people in from the very start.
Orlando Voorn – Un Common – Contrafact
I’ve always admired Orlando Voorn as an artist, especially for the raw edge he brings both to his music and his persona. That grit gives his tracks a unique, timeless quality.
Todd Terry, SAX – Jazz Anthem (Original Mix) – InHouse Records
This is an all-time slapper – it doesn’t matter when you drop it, it always hits. Todd Terry’s work is simply essential.
Bangkok Impact – Junge Dame Mit Freundliche Telefonstimme – Crème Organization
This track instantly gives me an 80’s feel, soaked in Italo disco vibes. It’s retro, but still sounds incredibly fresh on today’s dancefloors.
Tred Litely – Adjust The Bass Control (Original Mix) – Table Manners Records
A proper minimal track with a groovy bassline. Simple, effective, and guaranteed to get bodies moving.
Seor – Straight Drums – Let There Be House Records
This is one of my own upcoming releases on Let There Be House. It’s a track inspired by the French house style with a touch of Italo, combining two worlds that I love deeply.
D’Julz – Out of Place Artefact – Dbh-Music
D’Julz has been a huge inspiration to me. When I first started making house music, he was the very first artist I listened to, and his influence still shapes my sound today.
Markus Nikolai – Passion (Original Mix) – Mff (Music For Freaks)
I’m a huge fan of the laidback vocal on this track, paired with drums that almost carry a Michael Jackson feel. It’s smooth, understated, yet incredibly powerful.
VA ‘Let There Be House Presents’ EP including Seor ‘Straight Drums’ is out now on Let there Be House.
