Melbourne based producer and DJ Sgt Slick (Andy Ramanauskas) has been a solid fixture on the decks, dance music charts and radio for 20 years. His original music has featured on many of the world’s biggest labels, including Spinnin’, Ultra, Positiva, Island / Def Jam and Capitol Records and consistently reaching over a million listeners every month on Spotify. As well has his trademark ‘Discotizer ReCuts’, he also produced the massive radio hit and ARIA Gold Certified ABBA cover, ‘Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!’ in 2020 (Beatport’s highest selling Nu Disco single of all time!) His recent remixes for Avicii, Joel Corry, Majestic and Mark Knight have earnt him massive favour amongst the UK / European DJ elite… with regular support from the likes of Jamie Jones, Diplo, Fisher, Vintage Culture, and Kygo, to name a few. My favourite band of all time featuring on my own single.. I can’t ask for any more than that!

5 Gavin Hooligan – When Boys Become Men (Richard Earnshaw Remix) – Groove Lab Music

Listen to that bass line! Richard Earnshaw is one of those producers whose music I will buy without listening to. This song by Gavin is beautiful.

6 Julius Papp feat. Lisa Shaw – Way Back (Jarred Gallo Remix)  – Salted Music

So chunky in the drums and bass, and I love Lisa Shaw’s vocal on this.

It’s a few years old but it’s not leaving my box any time soon. Max energy and I always reach for this at the peak of a night.
