His Marimba remix of ‘Following The Sun’ by Super-hi and Neeka has now surpassed 16 million streams on Spotify, while ‘Celebration,’ a collaboration with Frankie Romano, premiered by Pete Tong (BBCR1), is seeing renewed energy with plays at major events like Tomorrowland Brazil and Miami Music Week 2025. This summer he’s back with a hot remix of Random Soul and Amanda Wilson’s ‘Back To You’ on Random Soul Recordings. DMCWorld goes Trainspotting with Supermini.
Random Soul feat Amanda Wilson – Back To You (Supermini Remix Extended) – Random Soul Recordings
As soon as I heard the fantastic production and Amanda’s vocals on the original, I knew I had to remix it. It was definitely fun and a bit of a challenge, but getting to handle the sound design, mixdown, and mastering myself meant I could shape the remix exactly how I pictured it from the start. A super satisfying feeling as I really love the result.
ARKADYAN – Bodega – Scandalosa Records
This track is an absolute weapon in my sets. I love how ARKADYAN blend musicality and live recorded instrumentation with real club appeal. They strike a delicate balance between repetition and surprise, fun and emotion, something many try to achieve, but very few do so well.
Adelphi Music Factory – Lift Your Hands Up – Beat Factory
Fantastic vocal track with a killer groove. Might seem like a simple combo, but it’s not and with a vocal like that, nothing else is needed. Timeless and instantly recognisable, yet still fresh and classy.
Folkness – Caramba – Wh0 Plays
My new favourite tribal workout. Those steel drums sound so fresh and fun. Definitely a floor-filler!
Tensnake & mOat – Heat – Armada Music
I really admire Tensnake for his unique sound, blending modern flavour and writing with classic 80s synth-pop, disco, and funk influences. His experience, taste and skill shine through in the pristine production, catchy hooks, and vocals, making his tracks both timeless and perfect for the club.
Mason – Beat Of The Drum – Club Sweat
Mason is one of my all-time favourite producers, he’s versatile, consistent, and seriously talented. This one is all about carefree fun, proving that simplicity can be the most effective thing in a set, especially when it sounds as good as this!
Nic Fanciulli & Marc E. Bassy – Hold On – Defected
Soulful and sexy vocal tune that feels instantly timeless, with a catchy horn riff that really seals the vibe. I can’t help but hear echoes of Roy Davis Jr’s classic “Gabriel” in this one.
Mark Di Meo & Rightside – Feel Alive – Electronic Nature
You can tell these two know their craft, Mark Di Meo and Rightside nail that soulful vibe while keeping it ready for peak time. “Feel Alive” is pure vocal house magic, uplifting and fresh every time I play it.
Dompe – Factor – Jackfruit Recordings
Energetic, well-produced weapon with a simple piano riff, killer groove and a few lively vocal snippets. It works wonders in a set without ever feeling obvious, and it’s always handy for switching gears or bridging different styles.
Midnight City vs Depeche Mode – In My Arms – White Label
Few tracks break the “don’t touch the classics” rule, but Midnight City nail it with this epic DM rendition – a slick, classy, and a real weapon for 2025.
Random Soul ft Amanda Wilson ‘Back To You’ (Incl. Supermini and Hallex M Mixes) is out now on Random Soul Recordings.
