On the occasion of it’s 15th anniversary, world renowned record label Wall Of Sound is teaming up with The Firestation for a early Christmas present.. A massive party, the likes of which has not been seen since ‘The Comedy Terrorist’ gate-crashed Will’s 21st. Confirmed so far is International superstar DJ, Lottie, a welcome return for Brixton based sensation MPHO with her full band and fresh from supporting The Noisettes, London electro kids The Infadels, and soon to be the biggest band in Britain, Kids on Bridges, also a very special DJ set from Wall Of Sound’s head honcho Mark Jones Wall Of Sound has released records by artists including Propellerheads, Grace Jones, Mogwai, Shy Child, Reverend & The Makers, The Shortwave Set, Infadels and Royksopp and has come a long way since the first ‘Give ‘Em Enough Dope’ compilations of 1994 and with 2010 looming, continues to go from strength to strength. The celebration of the label’s 15 historic years will be marked with the a series of special events led by head honcho Mark Jones who will be hosting some very special parties around the world and the bandwagon comes to Windsor fresh from a sell out Halloween event at The Den (Formally The End) and a Wall of Sound 15th Anniversary event in Hong Kong. The Firestation is Windsor’s new centre for arts and culture opened it’s big red doors just over a year ago and has quickly established itself as one of the most popular arts centres in the South East, with a packed programme of arts, music, comedy and theatre.
