Breakspoll: The International Breakbeat Awards Ceremony is almost upon us. Breakspoll is the annual get together of breakbeat artists and DJs from around the World who converge on London to acknowledge and reward the year’s outstanding achievements, and showcase exciting new artists. Now in its 9th year, expect the 2010 show to be the biggest yet – 4500 people, 70 artists and 18 awards, spread over 2 massive partys.
But before all of that… the public must vote! The doors are now opened to the online voting system at http://www.breakspoll.com where people from around the World cast their votes in a range of 18 categories – including Best DJ, Best Producer and Best Track of 2009. Voting is open for 4 weeks, with nominations being released for each award mid-February, and the results being announced live at Fabric on Thursday 25th February.
