After 3 years of massive parties in East London, the Urban Nerds decided to kick start 2010 with their first ever monthly residency. The Urban Nerds House Party lands on the last Saturday of every month for a good old knees-up at trendy Shoreditch pub, The Macbeth. Each month the Nerds have presented a forward thinking DJ from the realms of dubstep, hip-hop, garage, grime, funky, electro, drum and bass and beyond, to carry through their eclectic party vibe alongside the squad of guaranteed set smashers that are the Urban Nerds DJs, and this month, the top dog selector is none other than DMC hombre and World Champion, DJ Shiftee!
After wowing the Nerds crowd at the 2009 London Heats with a crazy showcase that saw the Harvard educated, turntablist extraordinaire mash classic hip-hop joints with upfront electro and even dubstep, the crew have invited the now World Champion back to give you lot a House Party to remember, so this Saturday Shiftee drops by all the way from the U.S. of A! And of course it wouldn’t be Nerds without some cuts from golden boys Rattus Rattus & Klose One, dropping bass heavy underground bangers alongside the rest of the Nerds team, Ordio Kid, Drama and Dusty Lungs.
