John Dahlback is big news. A huge dance music producer, his own record label and a very busy international touring schedule under his belt – all this and still only 22 years old. And from a country currently churning out a whole heap of talent at the moment.
“Stockholm is currently a hotbed for talented producers and we are very excited about working with John Dahlback” says Defected boss Simon Dunmore of the deal. “He is an exceptional talent who has been making quality dance records for several years now. We feel with a focused strategy, he will become a global top billing artist”.
“Defected has always played a major role in music for me” admits John. “With strong releases from the beginning, it has always had a huge impact in dance music. I feel very honoured to be a part of this legendary label and am extremely excited to put out my next album with them”.
With the album scheduled for early 2010 and an aptly-titled single ‘Autumn’ due out on October 19th, we all look forward to what’s to come…
