Described as a “must see” live band by IDJ and supported by everyone from Pete Tong to Kanye West, Kraak & Smaak have made a serious name for themselves as a headline festival band. Last year saw them rock it at Glastonbury, Big Chill, Lovebox and Bloom.
This is an amazing chance to see the Dutch funkers play an intimate venue before their Saturday gig in Hyde Park. Expect electronic funk, soul and breakbeat from the Dutch beatmasters.
Smoove & Turrell will be launching their new album “Antique Soul” with their first London gig. Their new single “You Don’t Know” has just been playlisted by 6Music while their previous single was Record Of The Week on Radio 2 as well as being a massive underground hit on the northern soul scene.
DJ Support on the night will be courtesy of London legend Ali B. Ali is the promoter of the legendary AIR club nights, resident DJ at Fabric and quite simply one of the funkiest muthafunkas the London club scene has to offer.
