I’ve been watching the productions of Angel Mora and Bonetti (aka Andres Boned) for quite some time and I’m quite a fan I must say as they manage to produce tunes that have got drive without forgetting a piece of Soul in them. The duo is hailing from Spain and their new EP on Miguel Migs Salted Music label is another proof they have got the skillz to come up with what is described on the tin as ‘Balearic Funk Nights’ rather in a perfect way. The EP is characterized by their jackin’ production style with some funky disco sounds on this 4 track offering – serving up an ample helping of big bouncy bass grooves and cut up sample slices for some good measure throwback appeal, destined for good times and plenty of smiling happy faces on the dance floor.
Each track is a great nugget itself, my personal pick is the floorfiller ‘Sweet Dreams’ that has been tried and tested enough to say: LATE SUMMER ANTHEM! Huge release for Salted and for the boys! Watch them fly!
