Sonic adventure is the name of the game with A / N, the first ever album from French producer Remi Sauzedde. He uses a lot of different styles and production techniques in the course of his debut, which is sometimes chaotic but never less than interesting. We hear his own take on dubstep but also some really impressive, deep ambience on ‘Gim Kordon’, some captivating cross rhythms on ‘Coding Augmented Reality’ and a really potent, percussive track in ‘P.4R.I.5’, whose title alone tells you something about his creative state of mind. An intriguing and often invigorating debut.
