Deborah De Luca’s two productions for Sola_Mente Records combine a breathy, haunting wistfulness together with robust beats and bass plus just the right amount of originality to make them stand out. The title track, ‘Deep Inside Me’ opens with pulsating basslines that are soon built upon by atmospheric, meandering synth lines alongside unnerving vocals and a heavy-duty edge. Next is, ‘Bella Mbriana’ which again tunes into tense soundscapes this time round via reversed voices and pounding drums while giving the playful sense of creativity free range to let go.
