Few people can churn out the sort of essential club tunes with the same regularity as Dennis Cruz. He is a real star of the modern game and now links with a label that is just as revered. That label is Suara and here he offers up four cuts that range in mood and groove and really impress with every twist and turn.
Body Flow is actually the last cut but is the most playful, with neon chord stabs and filtered vocals adding a real energy and tension to the beats. It’s a fulsome track that cannot fail to make a mark. Next up is Nature Boy, with a nine-minute opus that is prickly and tense, with taught synth riffs and spooky female vocals adding to the atmosphere. Opening track Everybody is a sweat inducing banger with ramped up vocals, jostling drums and a sense of impatience in the groove that really gets you going. This is a rich and rounded EP full of dance floor dynamite.
