Franky Rizardo is so hot right now. The Dutch producer has turned out plenty of big hitters on his most regular label of Defected but now steps away to Manchester pair Solardo’s label Sola. In doing so he offers two of his singular tech house tunes that are designed to get the floor pumping.
First up is Feel Alright, which is just as slick and infectious in the way the fluid percussion weaves in and out of the sick drums. The best of the two for me is Killer Bees, a tight and taught tech cut with old school vocals showing some real energy up top. Some great and steppy synth work brings a new feeling of rave at the mid point and the whole thing really bangs. It’s a nice way to close out the EP and marks another essential entry into this man’s discography.
