This EP consists of three well produced house grooves, two of which are quirky but straying ever so lightly towards ordinary. ‘Same Difference’ broods pretty nicely whilst ‘Cazenove’ struts a bit more – nothing wrong with either, just not enough there to really get you going either.
‘Do You Remember’ though is a different beast, a shimmering cut which makes fantastic use of its vocal slowly filtering in and out. The delivery of the singing certainly smacks of the great Romanthony, whilst the technique of the producers harks back to Daft Punk as well for a subtle revamp on the French touch sound. Groovy genius in the right hands.
