HANGAR 18
THE MULTI-PLATINUM DEBUT ALBUM
DEFINITIVE JUX

After waiting in the wings and watching RJD2 again prove a flagship, Murs continue as supremely underrated and Rob Sonic abstain from extremes in the 2K4, Hangar 18 bid to become Def Jux’s heirs apparent. Though pAWL’s beats in their low-key futurama jack from Jux hitting their stride in 2002 – bar the 8-bit ‘Hangar 18 and The Temple of Doom’ and the great about-turn ‘Take No Chances’ – Windnbreeze & Alaska’s warp speed tongue twists are technically excellent, never hiding behind the mic and turning a typically bumpy ride into a potential roster show stealer. Superb title too.
