While the languidly Gallic guitars and smooth horns of ‘Empreintes’ picture the scene of a heist being carried out with Ocean’s Eleven stylishness, the French seven-piece signed to the Yorkshire label, one-time rockers of Glastonbury no less, stroll into town, shiftily talking all that jazz. ‘Hume’ and ‘Lomaki Faleca’ maintain the suave nonchalance avoiding the hustle and bustle.
