Portland do-gooders whose ‘Wrong Way’ album provides a pleasing headache in restoring the faith of those needing some much-needed optimism in hip-hop. ‘Timeless’ wins out through its party-hardy, ass-wiggle factor and intuitive mic passing with soft hands, and in joining the dots from Ugly Duckling to Common’s ‘Cold Blooded’ via a pinch of Quannum, ‘Surprise Cypher II’ gift-of-gab-wraps neo-soul velvetiness.
