The French are taking over in the same way they did when Daft Punk hit the ground running in the mid to late 1990s. Hot on the heels of Justice come Digitalism, the duo of Jence and Isi E clearly up for a summer dance party on their debut album. Blending guitars and dance music in a similar way to their predecessors, Digitalism nonetheless make things their own with some big guns – ‘Pogo’, ‘Jupiter Room’ and ‘Zdarlight’ just three highlights of a consistently good album. Fans of more house music have really been spoilt on the album front just recently – and here’s another reason for them to be cheerful.
