To many, ‘Move…Now’ with Mark B will be the album’s jump-off, a bold gettogether with Neneh Cherry the LP’s major talking point. Instead, the pair are amongst equals alongside Jehst, Evil Ed and Mr Thing heading uppercut swaps, and Tommy Evans’ Colgate grin turning into a gritted teeth, respect-earning upshot. Able to pledge positivity and an open mind, ‘Inferno’ gets the blood boiling through an LG heater as stroppy as any of Jehst’s past depressions, and ’Truth I See’ and ‘The Parallax View’ tackle pressing issues without the tokenism. Another great advertisement for hip-hop’s homegrown – this revolution will not fail.
