Realising the UK is more than just a sightseeing spot (despite what Souls of Mischief think), The Jungle Brothers, The Pharcyde, Afu-Ra, Diamond D, AG and the ‘naturalised’ Tony D (‘Queen of my Dreams’, a machismo-pausing highlight), all discover the benefit of rolling tight with GC’s status elevators Rae & Christian and Aim, with Funky Fresh Few chipping in and Dual Control and Fingathing locking down the turntablist side. Chuck in a bonus mix that further uncovers 10 years worth of poser-disposing class, and this is one of the no-brainers of the year.
