Gigi Frassanito’s HSR Records label has established itself as one of the leading imprints when it comes to House Music from Italy. So we are not surprised the new offering from fellow Italians Hot Wind together with prime vocalist Phillip Ramirez is another belter in the making. The Original is a soulful masterpiece that is characterized by a huge break with sublime keyboard work, percussive drums and a serious bass that all work perfectly along Ramirez’ exceptional vocal. Guido Manara aka Guido P goes for a more bouncy, yet still soulful take with a nice sax addition. Finally Edo Lozio delivers a 10 minute deeper dubby saxy affair that rounds off a great package.
