Adam Port – Shifter EP – (Keinemusik)

This blistering instrumental has an irresistible and very effervescent funkiness while striking just the right balance between House and Techno – if those labels still apply. ‘Shifter’ blends all sorts of weird and wonderful ideas into the melting pot with cosmic fx and electro beats all getting fired up by an edgy, meandering synth that proves to be somewhat addictive. Next, ‘Snowbeach’ reflects its title with a warmer, though moodier, selection of Italo referencing keyboards that sound equally as compelling.
