Gotta love Alex Metric for his rawkus energy and musical talent both in production and song writing with ‘It Starts’, firing out the blocks and blowing away the competition for most exciting act of 2010. That’s all good for the radio with Zane, Rob Da Bank and fellow Radio 1 djs all on the case so let’s look at the Buzz and hype for the dance mixes starting with Reset! with their twitchy electro banger that is very uplifting due to a wicked bouncy b-line and wonky bleeps and squeaks. Evil Nine has been a fave remixer on past Metric production and we can hear why on the latest touch-up, a crossover electro disco workout with killer string stabs and rolling live percussion, a big glamorous strutting soundtrack that will slay indie and dance venues everywhere.
