Andre Lodemann’s sizzling funkiness sits perfected on DFTD as this first rate production neatly hints at tech flavours while retaining that all important soulful quality in the music. ‘Coming Your Way’ has fiery electronics (sounding at times intriguingly familiar) offset by warm vocals and insistent drums all commanding your attention throughout. A revitalizing listen for sure and one that will engage all of your senses: mind, body & soul. The sublime ‘Feeling Good’ is a cut above and follows with that same intensity prevalent in the title track, but this time with a deeper slant that has equally imaginative instrumentation backed up all the way by more yearning human voices.
