Sixth set of the San Francisco label’s highly rated series which aims to strip back to pure house underpants with serious partying in mind. Here the mighty duo throw up another quartet of deadly belters with pretty self-explanatory titles: ‘Keep On Jackin” hoists a big boogie bassline pebble-dashed with chattering vocals and perpetual funky motion. ‘Friday Night’ uncorks a relentless party-funk monster, continued on ‘Funky Shiz’ and its winding down spin back moments. The latter also comes with a squitty, dirty Shiz Mix. Said to be the penultimate volume but this series could go on forever, it’s so good.
