Don’t know a great deal about this apart from the fact that this killer production appears on Riva Starr’s Snatch! imprint. And, that it’s one of those records which satisfies on just about every level combining tough pounding drums and occasional brooding bass notes until the rousing climax of gospel voices make their presence most definitely felt. The second half of the infectious eight minutes then adds pressure to the bassline giving it all a funkier edge, while still retaining its irresistible thumping qualities plus the assortment of sassy percussion effects.
