‘La Musica’ is as much about captivating, hypnotic energy as it is about the rhythm of pulsating beats and shuffling shakers. At One creates a deep language of sound that feels thought-out and carefully crafted from the word go, with chiming ambience accompanied by a unique array of sounds. The Dub version gets that bit darker with more emphasis placed on the driving drums, although this is by no means short on heightened atmosphere either with terse keyboards and breathy voices hitting target. Excellent work.
