Bah Samba have been making soulful music for a while now without breaking out of there niche market and to be honest it ain’t going to happen here either, its a great song in its nu soul original with quality vocals and plenty of harmonys going off keeping the soul content high. The remixes however (all very good i must say) are all to simular, west London’s finest beatsmaster Phil Asher provides the best mix, cool summery beats and staying very close to the originals flavour. NYC’s Quentin Harris and Anthony Nicholson also turn in decent soulfull mixes but Phils already covered that base-great songs and vocals are a rare quality in house music and these elements needed to reach a wider audience house wise than what’s provided by these mixes.
