Godson EP
Phreakin

After causing a commotion on his own Canute label with ‘Poisoned Potato’, another sizzling new talent pops up on Phreakin’. The title track ripples, swells and tinkles establishing a kind of Motor City-tinged take on slow motion dub-out throb nirvana. ‘Murk’ pumps up with maybe a nod to the legendary team of that name as well as Prince and a hefty dollop of acid. ‘Chicken And Chips’ uncorks huge Detroit chords before unfolding into a work of subtle brilliance. Top tackle missus.
