Australian duo Bumblebeez have lifted another winner from their firing on all cylinders debut album ‘Prince Umberto & The Sister Of Ill’. The original Bumblebeez mix of ‘Rio’ is packed full of fun loving energy, that bounces and swaggers with a knowing smile, sort of early Basement Jaxx meets Fatboy Slim. Daytime radio and the charts beckon. Herve is first on the remix front, stripping it back, chopping up the vocal, and delivering a slab of bass heavy twisted house. The ‘Crookers Bang Remix’ follows, making the most of ‘Rio’s’ Toon Town carnival atmosphere. France’s Etienne De Crecy provides the double whammy finale with Tech & Dub mixes. British summertime has arrived.
