Andry Nalin and Gregory Wagner made a splash with 2005’s ‘Piano Track’ for Satoshi Tomiie’s SAW label, going on to remix names like Laidback Luke and King Unique plus more of their own like ‘Jungle Love’ and ‘Road To Caracus’. Their latest sees them joined by the old school Chicago-style vocals of Chelonis, who’s previously appeared with Rosyskopp and Tocadisco. The package kicks off with Spanish DJ-producer Jesse Garcia’s remix, an atmospheric but driving house monster sparking with Detroit stabs, the vocals somewhat recalling the great Robert Owens. Jesse also turns in a powerful dub while the After Dark Mix brings in deep pads and new synth riffs for an intoxicating slice of heart-swelling old school emotion. There’s a further two digital versions; Nalin’s Tribute To Maze Mix and Deep Interpretation. A proper modern house vocal classic.
