Café Negro delivers a richly soulful and melodic number that hints at references to the likes of Everything but the Girl and even Steely Dan. Deep and funky basslines, some superb guitar licks and a shuffling house beat will instantly help this find favour with not only the deep house fraternity, but thanks to some tougher and more percussive Automagic remixes, those into the Classic Recordings-sound.
