Camelphat deliver a stonking tech-house triple track EP for uber-cool Glasgow Underground. It’s like a first aid kit or a tool box with three utensils that will jemmy the lock on any set. ‘it is What It Is’ is a two note, mix tool with white noise and sub drops to go. ‘No One Hears You’ pitches down the vocal from Janet Jackson’s ‘If I Was Your Girl’ and layers this over a chugging, monotone bassline, synth chimes and bleeps. And to close, ‘The Quad’ is an uplifting piano house groove with plenty of sugar and cracknel on top. Sweet.
