Greg Louis drops at the same time on his awesome We Rock imprint and on Supermen Lovers’ label tasty slices of er, soulful French disco-house. What else to expect from the man who’s also one half of Aloud and started off as the Buffalo Bunch on Roulé (with Play Paul the young brother of you know who)? Yes the Daft connection’s in full effect but somehow this talented musician/producer (who hides here behind the monikers Raw Man and Dark Love) never sounds better than when he’s simply himself. An ambitious musical conductor who likes to blend house, disco and funk with the thump of rock and the arrangements of tasteful French pop, and who’s not even scared of sprinkling a little classical/trance musicality on top of it all.
