‘Sleepless’ marks a change in direction for Cazzette. Pumping progressive beats drop down to a vocodered, chorussed male vocal and an anthemic, pop / chart bound song par excellence. And then … no buzz bass to go and ruin it? … Nope, Cazzette have ditched the aggressive, denture displacing, teeth violently extracted against your will sound effects for a smooth, rolling bassline that percolates good vibes and endless waves of happy smiley faces. This is the sort of release that Calvin Harris has forged his career on. Good luck to Cazzette – you should be on to a winner here.
