When they’re not selling out the Barfly in Camden with their ‘Chasing Grace and Friends’ night, young Hertfordshire schoolfriends Phil Plested, Grace Ackerman, Phil Leigh and Matt Holmes (aka ‘Chasing Grace’) have been beavering away on their debut album. The first EP ‘Dinner Will Be Served’ was released in March and housed five, orchestrated festival main stagers reminiscent of Coldplay doing a bit or rough and tumble with Florence and The Machine. ‘Run’ is a lot more uptempo and carefree – opening with a tom hit and a military tattoo roll to great effect then delivering an anthemic rock/pop /folk/rave blend for the front row jump-up crew. It’s a hit whatever happens that will be a bigger still if they get the remixes right. Chasing Grace are London Grammar for The Pogues massive.
