The two tracks that go to make up this release vary in-between the melodic fuzziness of ‘Ghosts’ and the twisted exuberance of ‘Word’ but either way play them very loud and enjoy. There’s something definitely eighties going on in the former with its bouncy, electronic rhythms while the later is strictly here and now. However, it’s Word that clearly comes out on top with its feverishly, sexy groove combining great technology with an unrelenting arrangement plus the ultimate in funky guitar.
