Christian Bonori’s Ghost City is a warm, percolating vat of techno treacle. Its groove sticks to everything with its thick, viscous sounds and circling, cycling effects. The FLUG remix is a jackhammer special, knocking rivets into concrete with its high powered kick. Play it with Green Velvet’s ‘Flash’ just for fun, play it alone and recruit and legion of fans. Only the brave need apply. Then when you think it can’t get any harder or heavier Hans Bouffmyrhe amps up the volume, cranks up the pressure and rides roughshod over your senses with echoic hits and filtered theatrics. You will make many new friends with this.
