Another belter from the Bristol label sees veteran Italian producer Santos launch a new persona to indulge himself in a sublime strain of techno-flecked deep house. ‘Seaphone’ builds stealthily on acid riffs and stabs but also manages to recall early 90s New York house. Then Quarion comes in, strips it down and turns out a deep, haunting house beauty laced with Detroit chords. ‘Diamond Door’ is even deeper, barely percussion and some chords arranged with care and precision to round off a lovely set.
