If you like releases that snap, crackle and pop, Copy Paste Soul’s ‘Home’ will have you chasing your tail like a dog in desperate need of a disco walk. It starts with all manner of syncopated effects and sounds, skittering, racing and chasing each other around an irregular loop. Then the bassline takes control, leading it into an expanding world of blossoming synths, gruff bass hits, metronomic clicks and drum fills until your hands are in the air and you’re sweating without caring. Stick with it. It’s a sleeper and a definite belter.
