DAJAE
BRIGHTER DAYS(SEAMUS HAJI REMIX)
BIG LOVE

Update chum and all round good guy, Seamus Haji has been having a very good year – in the last 12 months, his Big Love/Soul Love labels have issued a string of club gems, and his production and remixes(alongside his cohort Paul Emanuel) have stormed the dancefloors, with their funky, warm  and tough electronic vibes. With this remix of a much loved classic, he’s actually outdone himself and created the very best thing he’s ever done. Obviously, he’s got a great bit of music to work with and on the mix available on a few CDRs right now, he’s utilized Dajae’s full vocal, but he really has gone the extra stretch to give us an 8 minute excursion that’s simply full of optimism, positivity (God knows we need some of that right now) and a  joyous dose of big phat bass as well. The arrangement is just right, with builds and breakdowns that sweep you along in a wash of synths and drums. I am of the opinion that despite the ever present whingers, actually 2005 is a good year for house music and this little baby is the icing on the cake. Play this and watch your dancefloor melt into a sea of happy smiley faces.
