Danny Howells’ latest released by his own Dig Deeper label teases out reminiscent sounds from the summer of 1988 and blends them together with swirling and epic chords to produce something quite literally intoxicating. We’re talking a full ten minutes here but while the music invites you to lose yourself there is also some seriously crazy breakdown drumming going on to shake you back to reality. The excellent Dosem remix follows nervously challenging you to guess just what’s coming next as its fast and furious bassline proves to be equally irresistible and unpredictably funky.
