Starting life in the underground as a bootleg at the end of ’05, the mash up of David Guetta’s ‘Love Don’t Let Me Go’ and Tocadisco’s remix of The Egg’s classic, ‘Walking Away’ emerged as a body-popping b-line laced cheeky electro, staccato synth monster. Supported by Radio 1’s Pete Tong and Jo Whiley, the Tocadisco mix is also spearheading the latest Citroen C4 TV ad campaign featuring that dancing Robot again. The Egg of course in there own right are a respected electronic dance act who this summer are playing a bunch of UK festivals including the Big Chill, The Glade, TDK Cross Central, Bestival and Foundation, before releasing a new single ‘Nothing’ in September. But for now the catch ‘Love Don’t Let Me Go’ vocal and funky electro hooky baseline will keep us dancing till then.
