Next in line from No.19 is this excellent forward-thinking production from Deniz Kurtel who fuses futuristic atmospheres together with classic Chicago bass perfectly. From the opening salvo of electronic weirdness you’re never quite certain if the arrangement is purely channelling 70’s/ 80’s synthesizers into the equation but become quickly hypnotised by the dazzling arrangement of sounds and stunning effects emanating from the stereo. ‘Forgot Your Name’, then sees Art Department join forces to produce another mesmerising number featuring more vocals adding the human touch in amongst the sizzling sequences of electronica, that undoubtedly sound just as exhilarating whether you play them A.M or P.M.
